A mini-series of podcasts

The podcast Frugale will consist of a mini-series of 6 episodes, produced by Rémy Marrone. The concept: one guest per episode, an expert on frugal AI topics. Objective: to discuss systemic and technical issues to try to make AI more frugal.

Each podcast will last between 20 and 30 minutes. The episodes will be recorded between February and March 2025 at the Climate House in Paris, at the heart of the ecological transition ecosystem.

  • Arnaud Billion (Technorealisme.org). He is the co-founder of Technorealisme.org, which originated from the technorealist manifesto on AI
  • Samuel Rincé (GenAI Impact). GenAI Impact is, among other things, behind Ecologits
  • Lucie Termignon (Compar:IA). She is the product manager of Compar:IA and AI and discoverability advisor at the Digital Service of the Ministry of Culture. She led the development of the platform Compar:IA, the conversational AI comparator
  • Anastasia Stasenko (CEO). She is the CEO and co-founder of Pleias, a company developing energy-efficient LLMs for highly regulated, information-intensive industries.
  • Denis Trystram (Researcher / Professor in computer science). He co-authored an article widely shared by the community in the media The Conversation
  • Lou Welgryn (Data for Good). She has been the secretary general of the association Data for Good since February 2025, after serving as its president for nearly 8 years. Data for Good is a major player in Data/AI topics. Among other things, they produced one of the first reference white papers on the environmental footprint of AI: The great challenges of generative AI
